Necessary Steps before Using LEGION 3D

In order to play back a visualised model informed by data from accurate LEGION simulations, you need to record a 'res' or 'ora' file.

Next, to create the visual aspect of your 3D simulation, you need to prepare a 3D scene (’3ds’ file) to import into LEGION 3D. For this second step, you will need to use a third-party 3D modelling application capable of exporting ’3ds’ files.

Note: If you want to include road vehicles in your visualisation, you will need access to the relevant Aimsun results file (XML).
